Mature readers only.--Excerpt--After a year of dating, Aaron and Gabriel were finally moving into a house of their own. It was in a well-to-do area of the Silicon Valley, with manicured lawns and friendly neighbors. Gabriel had managed to get a few case of the sniffles during their courtship period, but with his nurse practitioner of a boyfriend around, he did not remain sick for long. In fact, Aaron had taken up natural remedies as a side hobby from his main job at the hospital. He had convinced Gabriel to consume far more kombucha, vitamins, flax, and organic fruits than a Buddhist hippy. But because of Aarons devotion, Gabriel seemed to be getting sick a lot less often. Or was that because of the uplifting sex they had so often? They eventually got around to telling their families of their newfound love for one another. Revealing that they were gay on top of the fact that they were cousins, it was quite a shock all around on their Christmas visit to Maine. The families laughed, they cried, and they eventually came to accept that Gabriel and Aaron were in love. A few family members even asked when the wedding was going to occur--neither Aaron or Gabriel had even brought up the topic, let alone proposed. What was the point of marrying when their lives were already perfect? They had a house, careers they enjoyed, and a loving life. The only thing missing, perhaps, was a dog to play fetch with or a cat to snuggle next to.Their new home was about as conventionally idyllic as one could imagine. There was a white-picket fence lining along the front lawn, a pool in the back, and the exterior was in the old Victorian style. It was two stories tall, and had a beautiful staircase that led up to their bedroom, library, and guest room. Downstairs was a large living area and a kitchen to die for. The table tops were made of thick granite, and all of the appliances were modern beyond what most of the country was using. Aaron enjoyed talking to his new refrigerator like it was Rosey the robot.Rosey, dispense ice! Aaron commanded in front of the refrigerator door, fruity drink in hand. His black hair was tousled after getting out of the shower, and he wore only boxer briefs and an unbuttoned white business shirt. Gabriel had considered his mate attractive when they had first met, but over the last year Aaron had devoted more and more time to the gym and his strict new age diet. Protein powder, bench presses, and sit-ups had sculpted him into an Adonis of a man. To see Aaron partially clothed as he was sent Gabriel wild, even after all the time they had spent together. Gabriel was no slouch himself, though--he was still tall and thin, though with a few extra pounds of muscle on him.Gabriel approached the counter of the kitchen, sitting at a bar stool. Why do you gotta bother that poor robot? He asked as the last of the ice emptied into Aarons glass.Whats the use of having robotic slaves if you cant boss them around? Asked Aaron with a wink before he drank down some of his murky health drink. Although they had modern appliances, the kitchen was still relatively sparse in decorations. Even the windows lacked shutters or shades looking out to their lawn.Do you wish that your boyfriend were robotic, so that you could boss me around? Asked Gabriel. All the time, Aaron smirked before wolfing down the rest of his beverage.
